Stillwell Building Systems, Inc is a General Contractor. Founded in 1986, we have offered General Contracting Services for a diversified collection of commercial construction projects in the Metroplex for over 20 years for both the Public and Private Sectors. At Stillwell Building Systems, we have our own Bid Invitation Program. Subcontractors receive "Invitations to Bid" from Stillwell Building Systems similar to the professional services. We would like to both fax and e-mail you the Invitations to Bid. You will respond by e-mail, fax, or phone. If you are bidding, we will provide access to the plans and specifications on our website or you can pick up a CD or hard copy of plans at our office. We will send you an Invitation to Bid for ALL projects we are bidding that have work in your scope. We request that you respond to each Bid Invitation. Respond if you will be bidding with a YES or NO. We ask for our bids at the end of the day before we turn them in. We take the time to thoroughly review all bids and qualify them. Many of the bids have requirements for 8 or more copies, notarized, in binders, tabbed, with a Subcontractor list and amount of each Subcontract included with the bid. This is a huge undertaking with the large quantity of different work scopes that are included in each bid. We sincerely would like to have your bid, but it is impossible to use it when it is received 30 minutes before the bid opening. All of our figures are compiled and the documents are finalized and transported to the bid opening a minimum of an hour ahead of the opening. Even if the bid opening is near our office, we would need to have it completed a minimum of one hour before the time of the bid opening. We turn our bid in to the Owner a minimum of 15 minutes ahead of time to insure compliance.
